The annual conference of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology in Utah (CAST-UT) will be held on January 24, 2015 at Fort Douglas Ballroom of the University Guest House (110 South Fort Douglas Blvd, Building 801, Salt Lake City, Utah).
The theme of the annual conference is on Innovation and Development (创新与发展). The keynote speaker and guest of honor will be the Nobel Prize laureate, Professor Dr. Mario Capecchi from University of Utah. The symposium is planned as several parallel sessions in the afternoon. Topics include big data, energy and health care. A special session will be the students’ research presentation. In addition, CAST-UT will continue to award the outstanding high school students scholarship, and outstanding research award.
CAST-UT is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting communication and mutual understanding between US and China. It also provides various services to the local Chinese communities in the U.S. The annual conference is one of the most important events of CAST-UT and has been pulling in more and more organizations, business associates and professionals in all areas. Attendees were from universities, enterprises, and governments of both the U.S. and China.

旅美科协犹他分会年会活动第三轮通知
中国旅美科技协会犹他分会（CAST-UT）年会将于2015年1月24日下午两点到晚上九点半在大学招待所的道格拉斯堡宴会厅举行（110 South Fort Douglas Blvd. Building 801, Salt Lake City, Utah）。
本届年会主题是创新与发展。和往年一样，年会将由晚宴和午后专题研讨会组成。大会报到登记下午2:00pm开始，多个专题研讨会2:30pm开始平行举行。将有大数据专题，能源专题，医药健康专题，科研成果报告会等。晚宴6:30pm准时开始，请提前入场。今年我们很荣幸邀请到诺贝尔奖得主、美国分子遗传学家、犹他大学马里奥•卡佩奇(Dr. Mario Capecchi) 教授在晚宴上做主题演讲。并将继续设立优秀高中生奖学金和优秀科研成果奖。
CAST-UT是一个非盈利性组织，致力于促进美中两国之间的沟通和相互了解，同时为美国本土的华人社区提供各种服务。年度会议是历年来CAST-UT最重要的活动之一，已经吸引了越来越多的组织、业务伙伴和各领域的专业人士。往年与会者来自大学、企业、美国和中国政府等。
